Living Osteopathy is ACC registered, so you do not need to see a doctor to complete a claim. We can help you complete the form at your appointment. Also, if you have a claim already through your physiotherapist, chiropractor or acupuncturist you are covered to see us too. See ACC’s website for more information.
Your first and subsequent treatments will be thirty five – forty minutes depending on your needs. Should you feel that you require or would like a one hour appointment, please call us to arrange this 027 3611147.
We will help to support you with any necessary paperwork. ACC claim forms can be completed online from a link we send you when you book your appointment or with us in the clinic. You do not need a referral from other health providers.
Arrival
New Patients please complete the new patient form emailed to you with your appointment confirmation, no need to print them as it will populate the forms automatically. Please bring or scan and email any referrals, ACC documentation, surgical notes etc. to bookings@livingostopathy.co.nz
For babies, please bring your Plunket or Well Child Book.
If your treatment is delayed due to your late arrival, it will end as scheduled so that the next client is not delayed.
Cancellation policy
Due to the nature of this practice, 24 hour advance notice is required for cancelling an appointment.
How it works within the 24 hour period:
The full fee will be charged if no notice is given.
We are a busy clinic with patients on a waiting list, so as a courtesy to them, give us as much notice as possible. If we can fill your appointment there will be no charge. If we cannot fill the appointment there will be a nominal fee of $50. (Of course this is discretionary due to unforeseen circumstances)
Most health insurance providers now cover osteopathic treatment and we can help you with the receipts they need. If your insurer doesn’t cover osteopathy, make a noise and insist they do!
